Utilizing ancient Tuareg traditions the artisans of the Koumama family collective lead by patriarch Elhadji melt pure 99.9% silver using simple charcoal fires stoked by goat skin hand bellows. In this classic Circular pendant and bale detail is added with engraving using hand tools like a screwdriver and file. Symbols represent elements of daily Tuareg life and their surroundings. This piece is focused on the circle pattern signifying the sun and the Tuareg belief in the circle of life. The women of the community finish the necklace by stringing it on 4 strands of black leather which closes with a simple silver hook clasp at the back.  

Dimensions: Necklace measures 16 inches long and pendant has a diameter of approximately 2 inches.
