Crochet Springhare -Varied Colors
These crochet creatures are made by !Kung Bushmen (San) women who live in a very remote settlement in northern Namibia near the Angola border. They are considered to be one of the poorest communities in the region. The women cultivated their crochet skills to make hats and caps and then began making the dolls to increase their incomes. These colorful animal dolls representing animals from the region that will have everyone smiling.
