Five Folk Art Looks For Halloween
Posted on October 30 2015
We're getting ready for Halloween with some of our folk art in fashion pairings. While these styles will make you the talk of any Halloween party, we think they're pretty perfect for the colder months ahead. Find your fall inspiration here!
Black is such a perfect color for this Holiday becomes it allows for so much room for creativity. We're keeping this look simple with interesting Sardianian fabric earrings and matching pendant. Again, we're throwing in a pop of color with this beautiful leather coin purse with its playful brass button.
Burnt Sienna Harvest
Burnt sienna isn't just for the changing leaves or pumpkins, this classic Halloween color allows for a lot of creative expression. Mixing shades of orange and brown gives this look lots of depth, while the pop of turquoise keeps it interesting. This rust colored scarf with complimentary jewelry is perfect for a Halloween night on the town.
We love the pairing of our Italian onyx drop earrings with the show stopping onyx and silver wedding necklace from Niger. Both compliment the black, reds and whites in the scarf while the handbag gives a needed pop of color. Make a statement with just one piece or all four.
Mixing shades of crimson while incorporating interesting patterns evokes a feeling of Gothic romances. (We're imagining Crimson Peak and Rebecca) Crimson symbolizes power, love and of course fresh blood. What's a better combination than that for Halloween?
Turquoise may not be a classic Halloween color but in the southwest turquoise is a way of life, which is why we've included the gorgeous cow bone pendant. We love how this stunning piece gives a subtle nod to the spooky without being too on the nose. Of course we love this piece enough that we'll be wearing it all year around!
